SAFCA Policy Framework

In February 2006 the SAFCA Board of Directors adopted a policy framework to guide the Agency’s legislative efforts, particularly with respect to working with the State, other local flood agencies, and the Corps in the formulation of a new Central Valley Flood Protection Plan. With minor modifications, the policy framework was subsequently adopted by the Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) at its April 2006 meeting. This policy framework continues to guide SAFCA staff in the ongoing regional, State, and Federal plan formulation process.
